Our Approach
This workshop explores how our relationships with nature & our ancestors are fundamental to our freedom.
Through global history, ancestral traditions, and examples of spiritual resistance & revolution, we’ll examine how these relationships have been disrupted & reclamation as a practice of sovereignty, self-determination & liberation.
Our ancestors understood that relationship was POWER. Relationship with the land taught us how to feed, heal & sustain ourselves. Relationship with our ancestors connected us to knowledge, protection & spirit. Colonial systems understood this power, and worked strategically to sever these relationships. What happens when we reclaim them?
